Recent data from Lands of America records appromixately $3 billion in land for sale in the Gopher State. The overall size of land for sale in the state is about 186,000 acres. Of the 87 counties in Minnesota, Saint Louis County had the most land for sale. There were 2,455 acres of sold land in Minnesota recorded in November 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a change in sales activity over data from the previous month. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $6 million. The most land sales in the state last month were located in Freeborn County. Unsurprisingly given its unofficial state nickname, the "Land of 1,000 Lakes," Minnesota has water running through its proverbial veins. Trout fishing is popular in both its southern streams and big northern lakes, including Lake Superior.
