This represents a total of 40,809 acres of land for sale in Minnesota. Of the 87 counties in the state, Beltrami County had the most rural property and land for sale. The most expensive property listed for sale in Minnesota on Lands of America recently was $6 million, while the average price of land and rural property for sale in Minnesota was $315,162. There were 937 acres of sold land in Minnesota recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects an increase in sales activity over data from August 2018. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $2 million. Beltrami County had the most land sales recently in the state. Unsurprisingly given its unofficial state nickname, the "Land of 1,000 Lakes," Minnesota has water running through its proverbial veins. Trout fishing is popular in both its southern streams and big northern lakes, including Lake Superior. Of this area, 79,627 square miles (92 percent) covers land area, while the remaining 7,309 square miles comprises water.
