Land for Sale in Minnesota
Find Farms, Ranches, Acreage, and Country Homes for Sale
In terms of its size, Minnesota is the country's 12th-largest state, covering an area of 86,943 square miles (56 million acres). Of its total landmass, 79,627 square miles (92 percent) is land, while the remaining 7,309 square miles is made up of water. Unsurprisingly given its unofficial state nickname, the "Land of 1,000 Lakes," Minnesota has water running through its proverbial veins. Trout fishing is popular in both its southern streams and big northern lakes, including Lake Superior. The state's 1,300 wildlife management areas and three million acres of state forestland are home to game including moose, deer, bear and ruffed grouse. Lands of America research shows that 81 percent of land in Minnesota is privately owned. Based on its price-per-acre value, Minnesota is currently one of the five cheapest states country for rural land. This data represents $205 million of ranches, farms and other land acreage for sale in the state covering a total of 62,840 acres. Farmland was the most common type of land for sale in Minnesota. Of the 87 counties in Minnesota, Saint Louis County had the most rural property and land for sale.

Extremely rare 400 acre farm which is 1 & miles wide east/west and mile north/south. This farm has nearly zero public road frontage yet has access from both the east and west sides. This property is located in the middle of a giant section which is more than 6 square miles with no roads crossing it. The majority of the property lies at the head of the valley therefore a high percentage of the terrain is gently rolling and easy to get around. Hundreds of apple and crabapple trees are spread out everywhere across this place providing year round food for all sorts of wildlife. There are approximately 125 acres of income producing tillable ground. The contoured edges of the fields create miles of woods ag edge habitat. This farm
Located in the legendary Money Creek township this is the ultimate secluded valley farm. An incredible setting ensconced by hardwood ridges. As you enter the property your private driveway winds you three quarters of mile up into the heart of the property to the convergence of three magnificent valleys. When looking up each valley, meadows seems to stretch as far as the eye can see. A historic farm site overlooks the confluence and offers absolute privacy. This property has no public road frontage and you cannot see any sign of civilization in any direction when standing at the old farm site. It is one of the most sequestered feeling properties that I have been on in Southeastern MN. The central valley harbors a large apple
